（中央社記者葉素萍台中3日電）民主進步黨總統參選人蔡英文今天表示，尊重中國國民黨總統參選人洪秀柱的選戰布局與節奏；整個選舉情況，「都還在我們的掌控範圍之內」。

洪秀柱2日深夜突然在社群網站臉書（facebook）宣布，「我決定暫停每天陀螺般的行程，進行深刻的反省與沉思」，引發外界關切洪秀柱未來動向；洪秀柱競選辦公室發言人王鴻薇上午說，洪秀柱絕對會參選到底，下週恢復所有行程。

蔡英文走訪台中市等地受訪表示，參選人背負很沉重壓力與挑戰，洪秀柱決定休息幾天，大家都要尊重。

她說，民進黨在這次選舉一直面臨一些不確定因素，民進黨整體規劃與選戰策略有相應規劃與準備。

總統選舉辯論部分，蔡英文表示，公開辯論是必要，本來就是慣例，但慣例是登記後才算確定是候選人，接著再辯論。

她說，長期照顧與社會住宅政策，她提出非常完整規劃，國民黨政府延宕這麼多年，造成政策時程縮短，承接政府後有時間壓力，但民進黨有決心與規劃，讓台灣有完整長照體系，台灣也需要平價而且質優住宅，照顧年輕人與社會弱勢者。1040903
